Day 1 & 2 - Fly day and Stockholm

Up at 3:00 AM and on to the airport, where it took 5 hours in the air to Newark. We had a layover so we stopped to get something to eat, where Cathy decided to pour an entire glass of wine into Doug's lap (accidentally, or so she claims). Back onto the plane for another 7 or 8 hours to Stockholm.

We landed at 7:30 am.  (10:30 San Diego time) After getting through customs, Oceania put us on a 2 hour bus tour to see scenic Stockholm. We were happy to not have to walk around! Very pretty city 

They delivered us to the ship, to get registered and up in our rooms. Needless to say we were exhausted ( had been up 24 hours, not counting the 2 minute cat naps on the plane and on the tour! ) 

We powered through a couple more hours and went to bed at 8:00p. 

 Break into song with some of those ABBA classics, folks!

Finally found our way to the ship at 2PM, or so. Boy, were we ready for this.
